Once you have decided to go with Shutter Magik, we will work with you and make a schedule of all the important ceremonies you want us to capture, including any specialized shoots (Bridal/Groom getting ready etc., family shoots etc.). Once we know the timings of the ceremonies and the scheduled shoots, all of us can plan things accordingly. That way everybody will be on the same page and things will go as planned.
How many people will be there to capture the ceremony?
That totally depends on the services you want. For a Wedding Film, we usually have 3 cinematographers according to their expertise in handling different camera bodies, lenses, lighting equipments etc.Similarly, we usually travel with 2-3 photographers to capture all the unique angles possible.
Will number of people in the team make a difference in the cost of the package?
We do not reduce the number of cameramen because everyone plays a specific role to make sure the entire team works in harmony and everybody is assigned a specific task as per their expertise. Reducing the cameramen disturbs the balance of the team and hence affects the end product.
Do you guys travel? Who pays for our travel and stay?
Absolutely! We do not believe in working only in specific venues or places. Different venues have their own challenges and their own beauty. The world is our home and we will travel anywhere you’d ask us to. You will have to cover the cost of travel and stay. We prefer to stay at or close to the venue, so that the team doesn’t have to travel further with all the delicate (and heavy) equipments just to reach the venue. That way, we’ll always be on time and ready to shoot!
Are you ok with working with other teams/photographers?
We prefer to work with our team because we strategically plan everyone’s positions while we are shooting and hence do not end up in each other’s shots. We will be happy to work with traditional photographers.
Whom do i get in touch with if i have any questions before or during the wedding?
We will provide a single point of contact of the person who you can reach in case you have questions or any change of plans. You will have the cell phone number and the email of the person. We will make sure we are always there for you incase you have any questions.
How will the team be in touch with us while the team is in the venue?
We need a single point of contact from your family as well. It can be any close family member or a friend who know exactly where the bride/groom is and knows the flow of ceremonies. In almost every wedding we have captured, there have been change of plans at the last moment and having a point of contact from the family is a great for us to be updated.
How long does it take for you to deliver the product?
It usually takes us about 4 weeks to deliver the end product. We make sure the product is absolutely perfect before it goes to you. In very rare cases, there might be some delay from our end. If it happens, we will definitely keep you in the loop and provide a tentative date of the delivery of the final product. We do not like to quickly finish off the work just to meet a deadline, because hurry invites issues and that might introduce flaws in the work. We will always make sure the end product is worth your wait.
Can I decide what music i want for my Wedding Film?
We will definitely ask you your preference in the type of music you would want. Our art director and editors will be deciding if the music you selected would work in the look and feel of the story we are stitching for you. If you are not sure what you like, not to worry! We make sure we pick the music according to the tempo and the ceremonies we are showing. We do respect your choice and would love to include the music you chose if it works with the energy of the film, however, we would let you know if it doesn’t work out.
Can i ask for any changes to the wedding film?
Once the wedding film is ready, we will send a low resolution version for your to check it out. After we deliver the low resolution version, we will await your input for next 3 days before we deliver the final version of the film. If there is something inappropriate, please feel free to let us know and we will make the changes. However, please note that making a beautiful wedding film is a very tedious task and it takes several days just to to handpick the best moments captured by multiple cameras. We do not encourage changing the skeleton of the film,but minor change requests are always welcome.
How will the wedding film be delivered?
To keep things simple, we deliver the wedding film via google drive or dropbox. If you would like us to send the film in a custom pen drive, we can do that at an extra cost. All we need is the quantity of the pen drives and the address it needs to be delivered.
What is the procedure for a pre-wedding shoot?
A pre wedding shoot will take anywhere from 3-4 hours. That way we’ll have enough time to go from one place to another and you will have time to change dresses as well.Few days before the shoot, we will have a brief conversation on what kind of shoot you like, what are your likes/ dislikes etc. That conversation is very important because that way we know what your preferences are and we can properly plan the shoot for you. Not only that, it is also best if we get to know each other well before the shoot. We want our clients to be comfortable with us so that they can have a great time during the shoot and all the poses come naturally without any kind of awkwardness. It is always best if a friend captures your images who you know and are comfortable with!
What kind of Equipments do you use?
When it comes to capturing your special moments, we do not compromise on quality of our product. We only use industry leading equipments to make sure the photos or videos we capture are top notch . May it be cameras, lenses, light modifiers or audio recording equipments, all the equipments are thoroughly tried and tested to avoid any last moment mechanical or electronic failures.
